yeah I'll have to try and figure out where it's going. I'll check the in/out regarding the LAN as you suggest. Certainly a mystery to me.

I am late to the party for previous posts... POE power injectors are used for variety of POE devices. Yes, for IP cameras...but also wireless access points, IP telephones, any network device that requires DC that is not plugged into an AC outlet. Do you have Elon Musk's "Starlink" or satellite dish? They could also be POE needing a POE injector.

I've just figured it out - it's going to some sort of internet signal booster mounted on the ceiling (maybe that's the WAP you are talking about) - it's a 3 floor building . You nailed it again !

I'm working with someone to get the computer but they've asked me a question I'm not sure about. Can you help answer it please ? They are asking what form factor for the NIC card, they said "The NIC would usually be a size like x1, x4, x8, or x16"

They also asked about the HD but I see you already stated 3.5

Yes, a 3.5" form factor HDD (spinning, not solid state) which is surveillance-rated, such as a WD Purple, is preferred for video clips.
