For me, this was a totally intriguing video. So many things from 109 years ago surprised me, including:
Such good capability for a motion picture recording.
The precision they were able to achieve for the various parts and components.
That the engine could even be built back then.
The wooden engine mount. Surely welded steel would have been a better choice?
Adjustable stabilizer trim.
The basic flight instruments were so advanced that they didn't change until after the first commercial jets initially used them.
(i.e. artificial horizon, turn and bank indicator, directional gyro, airspeed indicator, liquid filled compass)
And then after watching most of the video of the plane being put together, they immediately took it apart!
Time much better spent than on all of the political, economy, and war propaganda videos.
