Seen some insist that Tanks still have a place in modern combat .. I'm having my doubts

The speed of tanks/IFV is further reduced due to mines. It's no match to a fpv drone that is 4x faster than tanks maximum speed on tarmac.

Russia still uses caged tanks to clear the minefield but very little combat. But because they are on the offensive, tanks are still used to level those remaining structures during the final assault to capture a town.

I coujda sworn it was just yesterday that Trump said the Strait is open, we control it and that yet another “deal” is imminent ?
