any info where to find firmware for Honeywell HBW2GR3

Honeywell cameras almost never allow outside firmware. They have a security chipset that won’t allow it to update unless the firmware is signed by Honeywell.

its 2mp 1/2.8" 5-50mm FOV has ICR 60m IR
seems like a good camera from specs, but not sure if i should get it, its pretty cheap like $75 sports games online

I’d be a little cautious about cross-flashing it unless someone can confirm the exact Dahua OEM model and hardware revision. The specs look pretty decent for $75, especially the 5–50mm lens and 2MP sensor, but the firmware compatibility is probably more important than the image specs if you’re planning to modify it.

Has anyone here actually opened one of these or identified the Dahua platform it’s based on? That would probably be the safest way to figure out what firmware, if any, is compatible.
