I'm trying to find instructions to upgrade my IPC-HDW5231R-ZE from Andy from 2.800.0000013.0.R, Build Date: 2019-12-02 to DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000018.0.R.210707

I remember seeing a post about doing factory reset etc but can't find it - can anybody point me in the right direction - thanks

Best practice is to factory reset (most do it 3 times), apply the firmware, factory reset (most do it 3 times) and then set up the camera from scratch.

The reason for 3 times is folks that can get "under the hood" of the firmware has seen where remnants stay behind after 1 factory reset, so folks settled on 3.

And of course many simply update firmware without doing anything and it works properly, while others have had it do some crazy stuff.
