Anyone try the capacity calculator tool on Ubiquiti's website?

Seems vastly inaccurate. According to this my cloudkey running Network and Protect can only do five 4K cameras. Currently I have five 4K and seven 2K before it tells me it is exceeding the limit. Looking at the stats, I am not even maxing it out.

Memory usage is the same throughout but CPU goes up to 50% max. Wonder if they underrate it so people would pick up the next bigger unit?

Always go one unit up to account for the miscellaneous calculations

You are right - that calculator is a mess and I would not rely on it

I think on the actual device used for recording that the limit is just a "suggestion". My cloud key has been saying that the camera limit is exceeded but I have since connected another two cameras for testing and it actually let me adopt it. I was thinking it wouldn't let me add any more but that wasn't the case.

The stats for the cloudkey seems to show that there is some headroom as I don't seem to be using too much resources to be unstable.
