I did check it. Same result as you showed. The histogram is cut from the bottom, resulting in deeper blacks. No other change. I get similar results when jumping between soft and standard style, but there is more noise in dark areas. -

That would be almost impossible today, because Dahua is no longer providing any info if the sensor is Sony’s STARVIS.
