Help me choose between these cams?

5 series it is! :) Yeh - I haven't been able to find one that sold me. I may try the hikvision one as it seems to have better sensor and aperture over the dahua one. I've only ever used dahua products with blueiris.

Help me choose between these cams?

Need a little help deciding. — Dahua vs Hikvision + one 180° cam? • All rounder + low light performance? Dahua IPC-HDW5859H-ZE-PV-PRO or Hikvision DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL and one 180° cam: Hikvision DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL or Dahua IPC-PDW3849-A180-AS-PV

    AI Turret in good?

Funny... I've been researching as well past few days and narrowed it down to this one. https://www.dahuasecurity.com/products/All-Products/Network-Cameras/WizMind-5-Series/Pro/8MP/IPC-HDW5859H-ZE-PV-PRO Also want a 180deg one but doesn't look like there's much of a range in WizColor yet...

Bosch Solution 6000 Installation PIR Sensors

Hey all :) I like installing things myself and I'm now tackling to install for the first time ever a new Bosch alarm system (Solution 6000). I'm using only 4 sensors so I thought it should be easy. I'm just a little confused with a couple of things and hoping someone will be able to tell me if...

Working with settings of cameras / Dahua / BlueIris

Noted. Thanks for that. I need to do some more testing with the camera settings output. So far, I'm highly impressed with the quality and performance of it!. Impressed with Blue-Iris as well.

Working with settings of cameras / Dahua / BlueIris

One of the things I'm realising when testing the different output settings is file sizes. I'm recording on the highest 3840x2160 25FPS H.264 and 30 mins of footage chews up about 5-6GB of space. That's just the 1 camera atm that I'm testing. Looking to put anbother 4 or 5 around the outdoor...

Working with settings of cameras / Dahua / BlueIris

Cool. I'll play around with a few settings in video output and post some vids here shortly. In the settings in Network Configuration - should this be set to a Generic Model or the Dahua One? Not sure what model to set ? (attached pics). Or it don't really matter? Should I be looking out for...

Working with settings of cameras / Dahua / BlueIris

I'm new to the entire Cam world and have recently bought and installed a Dahua IPC-HFW2831T-ZS 8MP IP Camera. Is there any rule of thumb when configuring camera Video Settings. I've got it set in an outdoor area capturing my front yard and the street/main road. I've set the camera to continuous...

BlueIris - Network NAS Storage Connection

Thanks for the reply. I've set BlueIris to run as a service, using the same credentials as the NVR as well as the user associated on the NAS and still can't get it working. Can't get to it within BlueIris. Getting to it from the PC that blueiris is running on is fine. Any ideas?

BlueIris - Network NAS Storage Connection

I'm having a bit of issue finding my NAS Storage Drive in BlueIris. My Netgear ReadyNas is set to access with SMB and has been mapped to the computer. I've created a user on the NAS that matches the same username and password on the computer that has BlueIris installed. Mapped the drive but...
