    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

Found the other post where this issue is discussed. Seems it's not specific for Color4k-T180, but any models using WizColor processing. What I'm seeing almost exactly match the conditions mentioned in that post. Observations from steve1225 seem to be spot on and clarifies things quite a bit...

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

I don't know that garbled video is common. Earlier in this thread it was reported by at least one other person (but i see now that it was for a Color4K-T not Color4K-T180). I remember seeing it in a few other threads too, but don't have access to them right now. IPC-Color4K-T and...

Summer 2025 - recommendations for wide coverage (180 or dual)?

It's time for a hardware update so I wanted to check in and see current recommendations for panoramic coverage. In my case, I could use either 180 stitched or dual lens on one channel. I won't use IR in this area, so low light quality would be important. Based on what I can tell, either...

Just for fun: Stream your dashcam to BlueIris

The RTSP stream is basic 480p. There might be a way to access higher res options through URL parameters, but I haven't tried yet.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Agreed. This is nearly a perfect doorbell cam in a lot of aspects, but the lack of software light balance is a really weird choice. My guess is they were focusing on stability of the doorbell which caused them to strip out some software functions. I'll write to them to see if it can be added in...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

This isn't specific for the reolink, but my (west facing) doorbell cams have always had a large amount of glare in the mid-late afternoon from the sunset which kills the image quality. Has anyone tried a polarizing filter or some sort of glare hood to mitigate glare? Would be interested to...

Just for fun: Stream your dashcam to BlueIris

Great news. Just wanted to report back that viofo was able to provide a firmware update for the A119 MINI 2 which enables wifi station mode on boot after I got in touch with them. Awesome support! This means problem A above is resolved for this setup.

Just for fun: Stream your dashcam to BlueIris

Makes sense. I wouldn't expect there to be a large market for those features in the IP or POE based camera options. Especially high framerate. I'll keep my eyes open and report back if I happen to see any suitable cameras.

Just for fun: Stream your dashcam to BlueIris

Thanks for the info. That's a good point. I may try out some other types of cameras. I still haven't found a solution for turning on wifi on the dashcam manually, so that part is an annoyance. Most dashcams I'm seeing disable wifi in order to save power and cpu cycles since they typically...

Just for fun: Stream your dashcam to BlueIris

This isn't really a practical setup, but just wanted to share a quick project. Grain of salt, this requires quite a bit of infrastructure so it's not for everyone, but I figured I'd share anyway. There are a lot of ways to do this, but I did it with mostly things I had lying around. Here's a...

Sharing setups with CodeProject AI on Coral hardware (Spring 2024)

LOL, oops. I didn't even know a FAQ existed! Added this reminder to the top post in case anyone is lost in the future. 100% Everyone's environment is different, so it's all about tuning things to fit your needs

Sharing setups with CodeProject AI on Coral hardware (Spring 2024)

Great share and awesome feedback. I'll add in your findings about BI config to the top post. Good note that static object analysis should be disabled to prevent flooding requests. In my case, I'm not having BI control CPAI, so I wasn't able to adjust the model size from there. Good reminder...

Done. Updated top post with my results and changed title of the thread to focus just on Coral on CPAI

Sharing setups with CodeProject AI on Coral hardware (Spring 2024)

Not topic at all. Very much appreciated. I was suspecting the same thing and I was hoping someone could confirm. I also wasn't sure which version of CP.AI would be the most stable, and I haven't had the time to play with all the different releases. Since it's taken a slightly different turn...
