    Bro sorry if you are offended. I just want to confirm because these are chinese d link connector. I can get this only in India. I read somewhere that specs are sometimes wrong for chinese rj45 connectors. Thanks for your help.

    I am not using pass through. Using this Cat5e UTP Connector - Cat5e UTP RJ45 Connector in Components | D-Link India. Are they good for stranded wires ? I have extensively used them in solid cat6 without any problem.

    After much research, I have now came to a solution that camera pigtail has stranded wire and I was punching down pigtail wires which makes connection drop. I think I should crimp pigtail wires with rj45 connector for stranded wires and punchdown my solid cat 6 wire. Can someone point me in right...

    You can also use rj45 connector made for stranded wires (with 2 or 3 prongs) for crimping camera side pigtail.

    Not chewed but damaged because of neighbors construction work. Wire was coming from terrace near his boundary. Should I replace whole 20 metre length or keystone jack can work replacing damaged part ?? Camera is poe.

    Update: Camera worked after above color code but was losing signal on vibration. Viewed my cat 6 cable and it looks like this from 3 places. Can this be the reason for signal loss ??

    I didn't mean to undermine you. I punched my keystone jack by t568b color coding marked on keystone jack so didn't feel to check pin number. Only thing I changed was swapping grey and purple. Now I am clueless, why my ip camera dropped all of a sudden without any physical strain on wire and came...

    Thanks for the help. Installed keystone jack with above color code with swapping grey and purple. One problem after putting dielectric grease in rj45 female connector is connection drops sometimes. It comes again when I restart poe switch. Can you point me my error. I have taped it with silicon...
