I purchased a DS-2CD1342G2-LIUF to replace a DS-2CD2332-I but it appears that HV has made the mounting base smaller such that I don't see how I can mount it directly to the brick without using a (unsightly) mounting box.
Here is the old DS-2CD2332-I camera attached directly to the brick with...
I currently have a HikVision DS-7616NI-E2 NVR hooked up to a mix of 13 HV DS-2CD2xxxx 3MP and 4 MP cameras. I recently purchased a Eufy E340 floodlight camera and have been impressed that it only triggers a motion recording event when a vehicle or person is detected unlike my NVR that records...
A year ago Nelly's sent me this one: DZ20180521_111_28_H2_EN_STD_V1.4.62_180809.zip (attached). You can always contact Nelly's, they're very responsive.
I've had issues with SD card brands in two different dash cams. Same cards were always fine in my PC but caused reboots, etc, in my cams. I've consistently found that Samsung cards work all the time and now only use Samsung cards in my dash cams and my IP cams that take SD cards including the...
That's a pretty old model that I'm not familiar with. Hopefully you won't get the language mismatch error when adding HV cameras. Be careful updating its firmware (or just don't) as you may end up with a Chinese only speaking NVR.
Yes, on my HV NVR I can setup for 24/7, motion, etc., on a per camera basis. You can control most of the camera's important features through the NVR, like motion sensitivity, area of interest, schedule, etc. The NVR manual is available here...
I ordered the wedge for the doorbell from Nelly's, it helps a bit with the view. Still wish I could disable IR.
One issue, to install the wedge I had to disconnect the power to the doorbell. When it rebooted it connected to my WiFi and I could see it on my HV NVR. However, the Guarding...
Well I went ahead and tried the FW on the HV Europe site, "upgrading" from V.1.4.62 Build 171218 to V.1.4.62 Build 180515. By mistake I loaded the 6403 FW first. It worked but then I load the 6003 FW as I think that's what the Nelly NSC-DB1 really is. I'm not sure what the differences are...
Yes, it still announces the subscriber not available message. And sadly we're still unable to turn off the IR. I'm worried HV has abandoned this product.
Quick update. I removed my doorbell from my NVR and the GV app is now notifying me. I re-added the doorbell to my hikvision NVR and the notifications continue to work on GV. Go figure. Thanks @RyanODan for the help.
I'm having the same issue. Using Hik-Connect I can get notifications but after a day or two the doorbell goes "offline" yet my HV NVR and the doorbell's web interface all work fine, the camera is working and sending video. So I switched to Guarding Vision but it doesn't notify me of doorbell...
