    I added a Loryta SD29204UE-GN I purchased from Andy a few weeks ago to a DHI-NVR6A08-128-4KS2 NVR and none of zoom or PTZ controls are working through the NVR. IVR is not working either and it is mentioned in the description of the camera. They are both Dahua (rebranded in the former case) so I'm not sure what the issue is. Is there a firmware update I need or some change in the settings required? The camera was added as PRIVATE protocol by default. I tried ONVIF with the same results. The NVR is web version 3.2.7 and system version 4.001.

    You might have better luck if you post this as a thread in the forum instead of a profile message nobody may see..

    You need to set up the camera rules in the cameras themselves and not on the NVR.

    Why didn't you just plug the camera into the POE port on the back of the NVR and let the NVR do its thing - then no need to add by private protocol and all that jazz?
