    I’m kinda on the fence about which direction I should go. The camera (B5442-ZE) is in what I’d like to feel is a key spot. Not sure If this particular camera is obsolete?

    While putting up the Christmas light last week I noticed what appeared to be small hairline crack in the camera lens cover. Well I tried to clean them off and now it’s turned to a haze that the camera really can’t see through. Is there any fixing this or is it new camera time?

    According to UniFi if you have the ai camera they recommend you put it on a gbe capable switch port. G6 is fine on a mbe port.

    Have you tried other cams for this purpose? I have a 5442 varifocal or a hikvision colorvu 8mp 1/1.2 I could use for this just don’t know which one would be best.

    Mine replaced 2 cameras. I have a detached garage set back from my house in my back yard. So the wide angle covers the backyard facing the back of the house. The medium perfectly hits my where my cars are parked and the long hits the end of the drive.

    This is what mine looked like. I unchecked the Use AI on local PC and default detection box, restarted and that seemed to do the trick.

    Set Like This? Errors out Tried a restart - Errors Out Tried a clean install after stopping all BI and CPAI services, Restart - Errors out Hit manual start through dashboard and it starts

    I have some 5442's laying around and am contemplating on getting a CK2 Plus running protect with the AI port and giving it a go. It would be a 3-4 camera max system at a camp that the family would have access to. I'm just weighing cost vs. ease of use compared to setting up a nvr system.

    I ended up checking for windows updates and it said everything was up to date. I restarted and still it errored and closed. I then unistalled every add on except yolov5 & v5 6.2. But it now seems CPAI doesn't auto start with BI (see log below) but yolov5 will start and run if I start it...
