    Well, got there... we're up and running After installing the version from December, I stopped the old service - launched the new one as a Admin. Once launched as admin, it prompted to install updates. Updates brought me up to the current version -- that refused to install otherwise...

    Okay, I just need to step away for a while before I really screw things up. Found a download of 6.0.0.1 from 12/16/25 sitting on my computer... had the crazy idea that I should try that... welp, it installed. Except when I try to launch 6 I get the fun error that the application and service...

    Well, I've held off on installing 6 for a while now.... downloaded the fresh installer from BI & went to install it.... however the installer is telling me to remove my existing installation before proceeding -- and from what I've gained in skimming this thread, that doesn't seem right...

    I had something weird happen with mine today. The presets all rotated their horizontal position about 45 degrees the same direction, the vertical axis was unchanged. Got everything reset and will see if it happens again. Really strange.

    Thanks again for your support and everything ya do here EmpireTech. Got the camera up this weekend. Now I need to play around to get the tracking working. Just haven’t had time to get there yet. The house/office is 375 yards away.

    Welp, for the first time in the history of construction it sounds like the stucco and styrofoam house is a plus. Waiting for the Amazon fairy to deliver a mount. Hope to have the new cam up this weekend. Ill need to spend some time figuring out how all this PTZ stuff works.

    Son of a... I know why. the 2 cameras in question are cloned/hidden for some stuff I was playing with a long time ago. The clones were attempting the old passwords!!! edit: 20 min later, issue is 100% resolved. For real this time.
