0.17.0 with OpenVino - great improvement!!
Been running Frigate for a while now as a backup to Blueiris. Most recent version using openvino only on an intel appears to have improved performance and detection especially for small animals like dogs and cats. (night time is still a bit hit and miss though - that's where CPAI with BI comes... -

Frigate 0.17.0 Notifications from Android?
Hi all, Has anyone got the notifications function working from Android chrome? Followed the instructions but when I click on Register Device nothing happens. . Got notifications as 'True' in my config and thought options would appear if I click on Register Device. What am I missing? Thanks -

OPPOSITE sense to detect NON-movement stopped working
Hi I had this camera working fine for 1 year or more for sending an mqtt payload alert when there was NO movement for 100 seconds or so. (to turn off a light) Lastest version update of BI and cannot get this to work anymore. Just stopped all of a sudden. Was trying to figure it out for hours...- Pentagano

Ffmpeg unable to read frames
Fixed. Was tweaking the dns settings in the ezviz studio app for more granular settings at camera level. Odd one as the others worked fine but I put the router IP and 8.8.8.8 as the second dns option and now frigate is streaming the video!! Go figure -

Removed dhcp asisgnment, reset camera, rebooted routers. Reassigned IP and mac. Can view the cam on the cloud app but not frigate anymore. code snippet form config: (3 other cameras working fine and all the same make/config setting) This 4th one worked fine until I reset it the other day. Not... -

Odd scenario. Had frigate running for a couple of years. Same ezviz cameras. Had to reset a camera due to a network change. Now it's not reading frames from the same camera that was working fine before. Checked all settings on the camera and all seem to be the same same but still frigate... -

BlueIris on Proxmox VM - cpu up and down?
Fixed. I think it was an unused VM which had 2 usb devices attached which didn't exist. Well after I removed that all settled back to normal and the VM is siting at a nice 9%. Very strange one. -

Myabe it's the i3 7th gen. I moved the VMt to another instance on my powerful i7 dell tower (32GB ram) proxmox stand alone backup node. Ran smoothly. Tried 2 backups of BI, one on win10 Pro and another on 11. Maybe the cpu, but it doesn't like this i3 7th gen mini lenovo possibly Maybe remove... -

Tried different amounts of cores and memory. Worse. Will try on another stand alone node and/or windows. Got bothe spare, just to eliminate that it might be something with this cluster set up -

CPU levels out to normal after stopping BI service. Should I change cpu type to host? 1 socket 4 cores. i3 7th gen. Nothing else running on this node except for an lxc uptime kuma. zfspool made up of 2 ssd drives. Recording points to mapped drives elsewhere on the network. IO is low and... -

Defo the Blueiris program monitoring it. goes up and down about 15-20% consistently every3-5 mins. odd. need to dig deeper
