    You do Not ever want more than one Earth ground rod used on your home in a remote location. You Only use 2 ground rods when they are located close by each other at the service panel entry, and the two rods are bonded together, to achieve the correct grounding resistance.

    I would be more concerned with your smart phone/smart TV remotes (Roku, Xumo, etc) listening in on what you are saying. I always try to physically disable the mics on those handheld remotes. They scare me.
