    What did you gain & lose from swapping to hik firmware. My understanding once swapped there is no reverting back correct. Or no way easy to do it.

    No the cams are pretty straight foward. I did adjust the key frames to match the fps. Not necessarily needed but makes the cameras load faster if you using something like home assistant with the cams. Color Night vision is great on a full moon. Worthless on a new moon.     this is my I91DX on blue iris, I love these cameras and the price, got 7 running. Haven't really figured out night color on this camera. installed them on a full mooned night and it was great. had some overcast and a crescent a week later and couldn't see anything.
