Unable to move ports on Dahua NVR

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I pulled the plug today and did a factory reset on the NVR. It seemed to have solved my issues; all the camera's are back online and in the correct order (even port 9). I also ran through all the screen shots that I took before resetting but haven't been...

Unable to move ports on Dahua NVR

I do have a separate POE switch for my home network. Its a fully managed Unifi switch so I can confirm there's nothing else on 192.168.1.108 and the camera's work fine when I connected them to the Unifi. The other reason I suspect the NVR and not the camera's, is that the camera's all worked...

Unable to move ports on Dahua NVR

Thx, will try tomorrow. I can confirm one thing: the top pane staying empty is a Mac thing. This happened when I was directly connected to the nvr by a network cable (on both Safari and Chrome), but as soon as I plugged the nvr back into my home network and accessed it on my iPad, the cameras...

Would i need to factory reset all the cameras as well? Cause that would be a bit of a pita. Or should they just work as long as i use the same password again and plug them in one at a time?

Yeah they work fine. One is the intercom camera that also records continuously, the other two are WiFi cameras in the back of the garden just to keep an eye on the bunnies. Real ones, not the playboy type unfortunately.

Sounds like the last resort would be a factory reset of the NVR and hope that the cams will come back. If not, and the first 8 also don’t move down anymore I’m toast.

Unable to move ports on Dahua NVR

After another full power down power up I now have the top panel back working. Plugged in the ‘old’ cameras 9 and 10, but don't seemed to be moving down. Do i need to factory reset them as well, or should they normally migrate down if you’ve only deleted the entry?

Starting to suspect the POE switch as well… I’ve now reconnected camera 10, of which I had only deleted the entry earlier to move some cameras around but never touched it or hooked anything else up to port 10. It’s also not showing up now either

For the IE links it looks like only the first camera I’m trying to access will throw a blank page at :10080, all cameras I click after that work with 10081 onwards. Any idea?

Disconnected NVR from internet and running a direct cable to my Mac. Using Chrome I get better response and live view, although some IE links still don’t work, some do. Reconnected the cam again after a factory reset, but doesn’t show up at all, either top or bottom.

Nope, but to be fair i was doing this from Safari on my iPad and the preview hardly ever works there. Now moved to my iMac ( no windows available in my house )and I can see other camera's live view from Safari. Unfortunately the new cam has disappeared again from the top view, even after...

Unable to move ports on Dahua NVR

Rebooted the NVR (again) without new cam connected, then connected cam in port 9. I now see it as 10.1.1.73 but port 37777. And the VTH’s are back too

Unable to move ports on Dahua NVR

Doesn’t allow me to do that, neither on NVR nor external switch, creates an IP and gateway conflict. Tried it on NVR with gateway set to 10.1.1.1 but it totally disappeared. Now tried it via my external switch, but it also won’t show up once plugged back into NVR. One thing I noticed after...

Just to be sure, when you say with gateway do you mean the actual IP of the NVR (192.168.1.x with which I connect to log in), or do you mean 10.1.1.1?
