    Hikvision poe and ip camera

Those are dahua cameras. They will not work plug and play with hikvision nvr (manufactures blocks plug and play cameras from other manufactures) what you need to do is to put them on a poe switch and on the same network. you need cameras' password. you need to be able to re-ip dahua cameras to...

    Hikvision poe and ip camera

You might need to get in touch with whoever you got those cameras from for password reset. However, depends on camera model, there might be a hard reset button somewhere on the camera - you have not posted camera model so I have no idea - if they do have reset button. most likely on the same...

    Hikvision poe and ip camera

For plug and play cameras like you have at the moment, the password of cameras and nvr must match. I would assume nvr 1 + cams have diff passwords and nvr 2 + cams have same pw so they would show up

I read the spec sheet, that camera has built-in microphone and speaker. You do not need external speaker. Spec sheet: https://www.hikvision.com/en/products/IP-Products/Network-Cameras/Pro-Series-EasyIP-/ds-2cd2387g2p-lsu-sl/?subName=DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU%2FSL+%28C%29+%28Black%29

Hikvision NVR can't add cameras - very weird problem

Have you try to put both of them on a POE switch and add them using local IP address instead of plug and play to the back of NVR ?

Same old story. Updated Firmware on DS-7716NI-I4/16P now can't get in.

if you unplug and plug the power back, cameras would flash / make a sound / red button flash somewhere at the front soooo if none of those happens, I have a bad new for you. especially if they are not showing up on SADP while being on the same network as the laptop

Hik-Connect Platform Access is offline for some cameras, but not for all

Not sure if anyone help you out just yet. Are these 2 offline cams stand-alone cams or are they connected to an NVR ? Not sure if this would help but under Preferred DNS server, change it to the exact IP address of the Gateway IP address and change the Alternate DNS server to 8.8.8.8

Same old story. Updated Firmware on DS-7716NI-I4/16P now can't get in.

192.168.254.xxx is IP address when you connect camera to NVR. So all of these are plugged into NVR. With that being said, you wont see them in SADP. Unplug them from NVR and plug them into POE switch with your laptop / computer plugged into the same POE switch to determine if your camera(s) is...

DS-2CD2443G0-IW cannot do motion detection recording

Change sensitivity to 60. It looks like you already drew the area you want to record (red squares) Walk around and give it 5-10 minutes to see if it records
