    My issue has been solved. It started with unplugging and then replugging the webcam cable from hikvision nvr. Afterwards, nvr stopped showing the stream. Today applied many methods. I think executing erase cfg0 did the trick. The camera is back in nvr. I did not have to set any new password...

    Hello, This is DS-2CD1023G0E-I camera. I have forgot its password. There is no response from hikvision using SADP tool. I have access to UART. Is it possible to reset the password using UART? There is no hardware reset key that I can see.
