    If you want better thermal resolution you can start adding a zero to the cost of the camera. As far as detection if it’s 99 degrees out of corse it’ll be less reliable, use the visual cam for ivs to compensate.

    Lot of variables. High temps, humidity and dust are a trifecta for failure.

    There’s only one or two people here who would argue against using Ethernet, and only because someone else said it. Screw them. Think for yourself, if you have to make an important phone call, would you rather both ends be cellular or landline? If they’re that remote, you want the least points...

    You’ve got a cat highway there! Maybe check if the cables are going over light ballasts or are running parallel against power lines. Can also try different baluns.
