Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

LaView told me to expect a new update in a few weeks. I am having the same issue. This only happens if I mess with it through the browser. If I turn it off and on again on the app, it appears to work fine.

My Laview version keeps resetting the detection grid. For some reason, it is replaced by my camera 1 detection grid.

Upgrade to the latest firmware. If not available on the app, you can download it here. Format the sd card, put the file in the card and hold the reset button until it restart. It will take a while to update the firmware.

Rebooting is their equivalent of reset. Verification code is the password, however, you must add lowercase "admin" before it. And yes, I agree, this cam is a pain in the ass to setup. I wish skybell had a feature to brighten up the pictures, SKYBELL works really well.

No - laview is weird. There's a separte password for everything (app phone, nvr, camera, account, app pc). If you didn't change the password when you setup the camera, the default password is admin+the password printed on the camera. EG: adminADYXMX

It turns out they updated their app (laview connect) where you can select the sensitivity and area. I've been getting notifications off the whazoo and couldn't figure out why. It appears the setting you make on your NVR or through web interface no longer applies. It looks like it's working...

Gus - I was initially opposed to the idea of two ways communication, however, I find that it's useful to let the person at the door knows you're coming or not coming. It acknowledge to them that you are aware of their presence whether you're home or not.

This is when you reject it on the app. Before: When you press a button, the bell will go "ding dong" follows by beep beep beep beep then follows by "the subscriber you dialed is busy now, please try again later." Now: When you press a button, the bell will go "ding dong" follows by silence...
