Hi ZTM: thank you for your detailed response and for hitting the nail on the head. I haven't been able to buy a PoE switch and test it yet (due to the COVID-19 confinement), but I think this will solve my issue. I'll report back once I have tested it with the PoE switch. Stay safe. -

Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell
#1 [NVR DS-7616NI-Q2] is powering the Indoor Station #3 [DS-KH8350-WTE1] via PoE. You can see in the lower portion of the iVMS screen shot that the DS-KD8003-IME1 is not showing up. Missing DS-KD8003-IME1 is connected to #3 (PoE). In the SADP the DS-KD8003-IME1 is also missing, see below: -

At what time do I have to put the username and password on the KD8003-IME1 door station? I connect it to the PoE but nothing happens. Do I have to go through the "add offline" devices setup? If yes what parameters do I have to use my IP or the default IP of the door station? -

How can I update the firmware if I can't even connect to it since it's not online? Regarding PoE, I have the Indoor Station on port#1 and the gate station on port #3. Which should I put on #1 and which one on #2? -
