Thanks for the info. I read about the bitrate but couldn't be sure it affected recording time or just the remote viewing capability. When I reduced the frame rate to 15 I also changed the bitrate from 2048 to 1024 even though I didn't know what it would affect. I think I will go back and delete... -

The board just appointed me the camera committee after supplying them with numerous videos of damage to the entrance gates. I started working one but left on vacation and the files were overwritten when I returned. So we just need to increase retention time. They are ok with the frame rate... -

My HOA camera system uses smart pss software. The record control schedule shows both regular and motion detect activated at the same time for some of the cameras. Does regular mean the camera is recording 100% of the time? If so what is the need for motion detect? I am looking for ways to...
