Help with HTTP REST API for ANPR
Not sure which model of Dahua you use or if it's too late for you with this answer but some models have the ITS API where you can set in the camera to send you details to your server. I currently have mine configured to send anpr data with plate cutout image to a server. -

Dahua ITS API (Barrier Control through Response)
Can Dahua cameras with barrier control capacity receive commands from response of ITS API? Basically, when the camera sends the plate details can i just a database of allowed vehicles and then return a payload with a command to open the gate? or do you have to receive the data then make another...
