Hello all, Does anyone know if it is possible to activate and deactivate the supplemental light on the Hikvision DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL. The end goal will be to turn on this light via the Blue iris app. I managed to turn the white LED lights on on my Dahua cameras , but I am unable to find...

@bp2008 , Thanks for the correct tool. Unfortunately it is still not working , any idea why? The settings have not changed , and with the IPV4 portforwarding with the previou modem it was working. Do I need to change here something as well with this IPV6? For the moment I just try to...

@IAmATeaf : Are you sure ? because I don't think so. This is what I had with the old modem , and that worked fine: @bp2008 : Thank for the link for the test , I think that part is OK: The settings in Blue iris were not changed with the new modem , and all settings there are still OK for...

    Portforwarding with IPV6

@bslow47 , my own house I recently changed from portforwarding to wireguard which was easy. This other setup is not mine and no money to be spend on a new computer or extra hardware. I even tried to setup zero-tier , but it doesn't like windows7. I am new with IPV6 as well, the IPV6 number...

    Portforwarding with IPV6

Hello , I used to have setup a portforwarding in this router with IPV4 , which worked fine. The provider gave a new modem and the only option I have is to do portforwarding with IPV6 , but I can not get it to work. Anyone has an idea what could be wrong? And after saving it looks like this...

@wittaj : I see , an AI codec , any idea where I could find a setting for this? For the network , I do have a network tester which consists of 2 small devices with LED lights , which just checks of the wires are in the correct order ( and they are). Hikvision panoroma camera very slow to generate video stream

@Bruce_H : On the Blue iris PC , opening the stream with the webbrowser is not really better. the stream starts a bit faster , but also 0 to 1 FPS only. changing VBR to CBR didn't make a difference. @wittaj : The Iframes are the same, or is that something different?

Hikvision panoroma camera very slow to generate video stream

@Bruce_H I am hoping to avoid swapping the cameras , because it is a pain to go there high up. I would think the same, but why is this : Showing that the data coming in with the fps is the same as the other cameras? Or doesn't this mean anything for viewing the cameras? I meant , when...

Openvpn, Blue iris and VPNbook , is this correct?

    1) I will look into wireguard the next days since this is an option on my modem. 2) I used VPNbook , since I thought this is neccesary to get acces to BI without using portforwarding. It says everywhere "do not open ports", but use VPN , after lots of googling I found that the easiest way were...

Openvpn, Blue iris and VPNbook , is this correct?

Thanks for the info, I see on my Fritzbox modem there is also a wireguard option , I will look into that. BUT, something is bothering me now. The idea is that my family is able to view the cameras, so I need to setup openvpn or wireguard on their phone. Does this mean that all traffic from...
