UI3: This site is asking you to sign in

I found the basic plain text option to be the only setting that didn't prompt me to the browser's login prompt or the UI3 login prompt

UI3: This site is asking you to sign in

I tried those URL operators but the username and password are both not being submitted and the "This site is asking you to sign in" pop up still appears. Is this just the nature of UI3 on BI6? I remember bookmarking any page on BI5 UI3 would sign in automatically when the setting was enabled...

UI3: This site is asking you to sign in

Anyone know why this keeps happening? It is really annoying. I am using BI 6.0.9.5 and am using the following settings for the web server. I use a bookmark on my browser to the http://192.168.1.10:81 IP and no matter what page I bookmark it still prompts me to do this. I am also using...

Mobile App connectivity (unable to connect / Reason: Unable to reach server)

How come I can't connect to my BI server on the android app when using HTTPS but can on HTTP? I can type in the server IP:port on a browser and it works fine. But I cannot use HTTPS to connect using the mobile app

    VPN and Blue Iris

Blue Iris should have a peer to peer system like reo link where I can connect to my server using the license number without having to know my IP or expose my server to the internet. I've tried using VPNs before and they were a huge hassle because you have to either keep the VPN always running...

    6.0.3.1 - Broke my webserver

I'm getting the same error. Fixed it by using HTTPS for the webserver

Having trouble getting FTP to work on Hikvision

If you want a sub folder created in the main directory try the setting to save in child directory and then specify the name for the subfolder. That field is confusing because it is not asking for a folder location like c:\\users\matt but rather asking for the name of the directory itself which...

    Run program/script not working

I made a powershell script to tell an Arduino Uno Microcontroller to fire a relay to trigger a siren. However it does not open the script when these AI conditions are met. However no program opens and the arduino does not get any commands from the powershell script. What am I doing wrong...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

So you dont see this ad when you open the side menu? I agree it isnt that annoying, but the an orange notification badge that appears next to the hamburger icon at random times of the month to remind you to check out this "reolink captures" crap. There is also a banner in the home screen that...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I've had 3 of these reolink doorbell cameras and they all stop working after around a year. They also cannot handle critism when I complained about why there are ads in the app and try to say it's a "you issue". Fuck these schmucks

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Yeah the reolink app is garbage and it has ads in it and when you bring this up on their reddit page they ban you for it. Go figure.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I thought you forfeit the ability to use two way comms with these doorbell cams on Blue Iris? Either way these are garbage cameras and Unify makes a way better POE doorbell cam. The 2/3 Reolink doorbells I had all failed within a year and they were all installed properly

How is a VPN more secure than port forwarding?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't VPNs require port forwarding as well? Can't you just set a strong password for Blue Iris instead of having to go through all the challenges with using a smart phone + VPN + Blue Iris? The app is already problematic enough without the VPN (sometimes the app...

UI3 - Click anywhere to begin streaming

This prompt happens because autoplay isnt enabled for the site. Just happened to me now and this fixed it. Its not a blue iris issue, it's just how websites and browsers interact these days.

Why doesn't Blue Iris sell hourly consulting services?

I'm using code project but I can't figure out how to ignore static objects on my ptz cameras that use patrol zones. That's my current dilemma. Their support is also crickets right now which means I probably asked them (I mean "Ken", the only guy there apparently) too many questions. This is...
