    Which YOLO to use?

Having a little over 24 hours with AI enabled in BI6, I am pretty raw in all this too. I used the BI downloadable yolov8s.onnx You have 3 choices, n,m,s after you download & install the BI internal modules. N being the lightweight least accurate, M (medium) being the more intense heavy CPU but...

Ah yes, & I want my cake & eat it too! Thank you for the clarification, also I do like the animation preview Alert, I default to always Alert view in UI3, I am never on the console, it is headless. The trick was to ensure on Record Tab JPEG is "checked" & chose "When Alerted" in the Drop down...

With 6.x.x.x I started to play with AI components for first time & when I hover over an alert, it auto plays a segment of that motion alert, I thought auto play could be disabled on hover on/off? I do like the feature but I was looking to better capture the AI Alerts that are written on top &...

Blue Iris Tools - Weather Overlay, Watchdog & more!

Impressive & appreciated that you share your work. My quandary is that my WU broke so long ago I have just gotten use to it no longer around. If this script was around when it first broke, I would have been all over this.

Blue Iris Tools - Weather Overlay, Watchdog & more!

I still follow this thread, 1.60 never worked right for me, I just follow this thread, see if a newer versions ever comes up. I know the guy does this free & so I do miss it but accept for whatever reasons that version just has some compatibility issues with some PC's. I suspect there is still...

Looking for the "perfect" IP PoE camera for maximum coverage with limited height considerations

I think "Dumpster cam" will have some issues (too many snoopers). I came to a compromise & aided with a neat idea from my brother. We collect the magnets off of failing hard drives (the old spinning types, the magnets are impressively strong). Screwed them onto a piece of 2x4 & bolted the...

Looking for the "perfect" IP PoE camera for maximum coverage with limited height considerations

Yeah, redeploy the bullet camera to the garage & then add a dome/turret up in the top of the other garage overhang (pink zone).

Looking for the "perfect" IP PoE camera for maximum coverage with limited height considerations

We've had many issues here with "roaming types", multiple vehicle break-in's, had vagrants bat it down for no reason as they pass by. The front cameras I managed to protect & have good view. I think relocation is the only solution, back against the first (primary) garage behind the gate post &...

Looking for the "perfect" IP PoE camera for maximum coverage with limited height considerations

It was a 2.8 mm lens, I didn't mention vendor as resolution (& apparently lens) I thought would be sufficient (& not to dish the vendor as I made the assumption, my ignorance is more of a factor). Yes, that is the debatable aspect, will they tamper with them? In the front they did & I got a...

Looking for the "perfect" IP PoE camera for maximum coverage with limited height considerations

I've tried dome & bullet style (currently using a bullet with 3840 x 2160 resolution) & I cannot seem to find a camera that when mounted 9 1/2 ' high to effectively cover a 30 ' x 30 ' space with an immediate 90 degree down angle (to cover gate) & extend to cover two vehicles parked in the back...

Yes, applied manually, works much better (as it should / did). Very quick response, I presume the fix took longer! Thanks.

let's not forget there is account lock out settings as well for any brute force attacks. Also I think most have a base user (non admin) for remote viewing / monitoring ...

Oh please .... :) VPN is only as good as the unit running the agent. Also if you travel in places like China & IRAN, VPN is useless, you're better off using SSL.

Oh yes I typically stream playbacks @ 4x, simple reason if I am just reviewing the night before & taking a look. I find 8x or higher you can miss critical nuances to what actually triggered the camera.
