Thanks for those who offered a solution. I found that the Nettcom device (or both devices) had a hardware fault. Once I replaced them, I had a successful connection. -

I returned my Cam back to the distributer with an " Unsuitable for Purpose" I received a full refund. I was told by the distributer that Hikvision could take a long time to fix the firmware, and they actually might not even attempt to fix it. -

I yesterday followed up with our distributor who advised that Hikvision were working on new firmware for this camera in order to rectify the blatant faults. -

Thks Alistair. I resolved the issue. I have some PC cleanup software (RESTORO) which is supposed to remove cache, temp files as well as cleanup the Registry. When I last ran the program, it removed Win11 and restored my PC back to Win10. Somehow that effected the Hikvision playback. After... -
