I can think of at least 2 maybe 3 reasons that the GOP and Trump are ok with a shutdown for a month or more

10. A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza will be created by convening a panel of experts who have helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development ideas have been crafted by well-meaning international groups, and will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity, and hope for future Gaza.

That Prager letter is obviously well written, and he sure seems sincere to me... I really don't know much about this Candace chick, but I'd guess she's been out of her mind for more than the last year... the recent (after Prager's letter?) FOXNews' Jesse Watters defends Pelosi Attacker
The label on both of these videos is very dishonest.
In the first one the reporting was transitioning from the awarding of a medal of freedom to the Pelosi attack, and Campos-Duffy made a dumb crack that maybe Pelosi should be awarded a hammer to defend himself, followed by a totally serious report of the incident. This being passed off as a moral equivalence to saying that a murder victim deserved it?
In the second one, Watters is questioning the two-tier justice system where the Pelosi attacker was being treated much more harshly than the perpetrators of similar crimes. He's not defending the attacker, he's demanding equal justice The title is simply a total lie.
