Nationalize it all!

Then do guaranteed basic income and we’ll live in that “Golden Age” that Dear Leader has promised us if we just kiss the ring

I read a book last night that says I can take over any land in California I damn well please and kick people out of their homes.

I had an ancestor there once.
Could do like we did, never inhabited/owed the land, take the indigenous people, try to kill them off with smallpox, force them into reservations, force them to speak a new language, new religion, now we have their land...

Kind of a big deal, socialism, nationalizing companies, government owning means of production, stuff like that, gee whiz, I mean, John Gault…

I guess it’s all ok as long as the peasants get their bread and circuses…but I guess we can’t condemn that soon to be socialist Mayor in NYC for proposing the city owning grocery stores ?

Typical Trump...has not changed a bit over all these years...

Another Trump Victory: Here's Why Canada Had to Cave on Retaliatory Tariffs
We saw great news earlier with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell hinting that interest rate cuts will be coming. Then, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated that tariffs on foreign countries will likely reduce the deficit by $4 trillion over the decade. Those stories likely helped to send the stock market soaring, with the Dow Jones hitting its all-time high.

Now there's more positive news. President Donald Trump and Canadian leader Mark Carney had a phone call on Thursday on trade issues. As a result, Carney announced on Friday that Canada would be dropping most of its retaliatory tariffs on the United States. After all the anger the liberals whipped up, Carney had to explain that they would remove tariffs on goods covered under the USMCA agreement.

Carney said Canada will now match the US by ending its tariffs on goods compliant with the US-Mexico-Canada free trade agreement (USMCA). He said that would "re-establish free trade for the vast majority" of goods that move between the two countries.

The decision will go into effect on 1 September, Carney said. [....]

In a statement to the BBC's US news partner CBS, the White House said it welcomes Canada's move, adding that it is "long overdue" and that the US looks forward to continuing discussions with its northern neighbour about trade and national security.

Trump confirmed that, and it sounded like they made a lot of progress.

Trump Was Right About Everything!
Wearing thatt big red hat emblazoned with that ^^^^ was hilarious to see. Always trolling his haters. Funny as shit.

There is an obvious explanation for this. After about 20 years I left Intel right at Y2K. The stock price immediately dropped and has never recovered to what it was back then. ;)

So you feel @Sybertiger that the us govt should take ownership positions in any/all private companies based on the whim of whomever happens to be in office at the time decides to?

What if the next self anointed dictator chooses to invest taxpayer money in say LGBQRZX toothbrushes for cats?

What happens if that company loses its ass? Are taxpayers on the hook?

And if you own a large private business, that’s doing well, are you still going to cheerlead for the government to come in and buy 10%, 20%, of your business?

What if you decide to take your business in a different direction than what the government wants? Make a different kind of chip than what the government wants?

Thinking past today is essential in business

The hypocrisy of MAGA is astounding

When you start from a position of
“Trump is right no matter what” then reason and thinking become unnecessary
