They should let strippers lay the Red Carpet

Regarding the unrefrigerated eggs....I've been informed that they are most likely unwashed there which is OK, within limits....eggs here in the U.S. that are sold in stores are washed which requires them to be refrigerated.

Yes, saw a really good egg farmer explain this on youtube ..

USA washes the eggs and refrigerates them .. the eggs have a much longer travel distance in the USA

Result also for consumers is a longer "good shelf life"

AI states by :

In the USA, commercially produced eggs are washed and sanitized, which removes the natural protective cuticle, requiring them to be refrigerated to prevent bacterial growth. These refrigerated eggs typically have a shelf life of 3 to 5 weeks (up to 21–50 days depending on the source) from packing, as the cold chain slows spoilage and salmonella proliferation.

In the EU, eggs are generally not washed and retain their natural cuticle, allowing them to be stored at room temperature. European eggs are marked with a "best before" date of 28 days after laying, though they can safely remain unrefrigerated for about 2 to 3 weeks. Some sources note that while EU eggs have a shorter labeled shelf life, refrigerating unwashed eggs can extend their usability similarly to US standards, though this is not the standard commercial practice in Europe.
