This guy must not have any brains. If he releases the "war plans" and they include classified info, he should be punished as a traitor. If there isn't any classified info, he outed himself as a liar. It's that simple, isn't it?

There was no classified material in the first batch. IMHO it was a big nothing burger. Of course, the Democrats are blowing it all out of proportion. Yes, Goldberg should not have been included on that email, and we need to find out exactly how it happened.

For those who likely don’t know (which is expected):

That is Pierre Pollivere (PP), federal leader of the Conservative Party. Canada is in the midst of an election campaign, with voting on April 28. Our elections are shorter and much more erraticly timed than US ones.

While probably somewhere around JFK or a bit left of that, he’s Canada’s only alternative to the very progressive policies of the last ten years. Which Carney had a solid hand in, and has kept most of the top people for his leadership strategy. Both elected and unelected.

Unfortunately, it’s a rushed election because Carney’s “new” shine is already wearing off, and everything Trump’s doing is driving support towards the Liberals. Whether he’s doing it intentionally or not.

PP is being framed as Trump light and anything else they hope will stick. Polls are heavily biased, most media needs PP to lose so they keep getting government media, etc. etc.

Seems like a Kamala vote. Here’s your only candidate, go vote!

PP was the fiscal watchdog position during the Harper administration. Which was among the best financially minded on earth at the time. Harper is still economically revered in most circles.

Carney is being flouted due to the two “Bank of” leaderships he’s had as the financial port in the Trump storm of chaos. Never mind the Brits call him “reverse Midas” and other bad things. He was the big push behind the scenes for MMT policy and implementation.

So PP is a good choice for most important points up here. Unfortunately, urban votes are backwards on some points due to wedge issue messaging. And PP is still being slagged as anti-abortion. Which he is not legislation wise. Personal, no idea. But abortion issue is deader than it is in the States and is just a talking point stick/wedge issue for those single issue voters.

Bear in mind, a lot of Trump policies aren’t that far removed from JFK. But the talking points make it seem further right than it is. The Overton window has moved in both countries, but Canada’s is further left.

Oh they've already pegged it to an "aide" named Wong.

The narrative spin being pushed is "It wasn't war plans, meh"

That kinda ignores that it happened in the first place.

The reporter wasnt put on by "mistake"

I think there's more too it , that there are moles involved, and we havent seen the last of "leaks"
Personally I'd keep an eye on Susie Wiles. She's a snake
