Look, NYC is very blue. There is a metric shit ton of people that are on some type of gov't assistance there. They don't pay taxes, or very little if they do. They want all the free stuff Mandimic is promising them, so they will come out in droves to vote for him.

It does not matter if he can deliver on those promises. They don't care. If he delivers, they get more free stuff. If not, they still get all of the current free stuff, and they/he will blame the right for the 'failure' of his policies.
 
Republicans better hope today wasn't a sign of things to come in '26.
