Texas has the same problem that Florida is seeing.

There is a real and identifiable trend of NY and other out of state (and in state) fanatic liberal Democrats posing and running as Republicans.

Because so many voters are lazy an dumb, they vote straight party line all of their lives and are largely ignorant of actual candidate backgrounds and policy positions. Or are deceived by those same lying candidates. Democrats, whose party has imploded to never before seen low favorability, are running as Republicans and winning.

Thus you get legislation like the above.

Its a real coordinated plan and problem and we are in for a shitstorm

I dont consider most who follow politics , or this forum for that matter, lazy and stupid. But I dare you to ask 10 neighbors what they know about the state and local politicians they voted for.

The answer is to get involved in local races and primaries. Call and email your representatives, a lot. Join other like minded local groups. We actually had some influence here in FL on a bill to strip LE enforcement from the Governor just a few months ago. It was grassroots and I joined with the local GOP chapter in condemning, calling, emailing and being a pain in their ass along with hundreds of others. Waiting for the General as you point out, gives two bad choices.

There is no Red/Blue team in reality. If you’re watching what’s happening in the US Congress, or Texas or Florida, that’s plainly clear.

Otherwise I don’t have a good answer on what to do but not vote or vote for the opposing team. Which I did in some cases. I truly think we have to sacrifice a few key seats in the midterms to get the so called Republicans in those districts to take notice.

But playing by their rules and doing the same thing over and over isnt working.
