Yeah in 2012 the Dow was at ~12,000. My off the top of my head estimate is that a 1500 point drop today would be comparable to about 600, maybe less, back then.

This sounds nice on the surface, and I'm thinking that it's trying to leave the impression that 76% of the population supported the speech. But since it's likely that the collection of viewers heavily leaned to Trump supporters, it's actually an expected and meaningless statistic.
