Anyone else experience random reboots that occur every 2-7days? My system log says "shutdown" then above it says "Reboot with flag (0x01). I know that Dahua error code 0X01 indicates a loss of power issue but I have had no power outages (not even intermittent) and I didn't have this issue prior to updating to this firmware. Just curious whether anyone else is seeing this?

I have confirmed that the same issue is present on an NVR5232-4ks2 (Non Poe Version)

If you go to search and just click on every day on the calendar starting from today then going back day by day as far as you can, see if there are any black lines in the timeline. This is how I initially found them then I noted the date/time and went back to the log. This is how I discovered it.
 
Indeed the latest firmware is very problematic not only for your experience but also the non notifications for DMSS. Version ending 7.1 seems most stable.
As all have said on this forum before. Don't always update to latest firmware as it's sometimes disappointing.

Wow, not sure what’s going on with mine. Both also have spotty recordings on the earlier dates. I formatted the drives so time will tell.

Not overheating. I had modified my NVR with a fan on the CPU. It never gets over 51°C even on the hottest days. Before the mod it would run 71° On cool days. I’m keeping an eye on it and should know more in a couple weeks.

How are you powering the additional fan and what the amperage draw on it?

You said error indicates a "power loss" may not exactly mean a blackout at the power source but a heavy drain after power supply but maybe possibly that CPU cannot get enough power if other hardware are drawing the most power away from it causing it to reboot?

Just a thought .. but we can't be sure unless you can give us an idea how the additional fan is powered and the amperage draw on it.

This is the fan

Current draw is minimal. It is being powered by one of the hard drive power connectors. There is no power loss at the source because yesterday it rebooted while I was watching TV and the television was connected to the same power center and the tv did not lose power. I have had the same set up with the fan for over two years now with no problems. The problem started after the most recent firmware which is 220322

Then that an odd one ... hard drive power connector should have no trouble powering a cpu fan.

I suspect it may have something to do with the “emergency maintenance” feature that was added in this firmware. I have turned it off and should know better within the next five days or so

Update: I rolled back to an older 2021 firmware (210827) and it’s been over 10 days now with no random reboots. Will wait for another update before updating again. I really like the revised search date features in the 2022 firmware.
