I plan to use a vinyl siding plate adapter to mount the PFA121 box, with the IPC-HFW5431EP-Z5 attached to that.

Box is setup nice with blind mounting holes that don't allow water in. There is also a rubber gasket that goes around the edge that is not there in the picture.

Grommet has a split down one side so that you can get it around the cable and then push it into the hole easily.

THe box itself will seal nicely to the vinyl siding adapter. I will use silicone sealant on the back of box around the 2 sides and top, leaving the bottom unsealed for drainage.

Do I need to worry about the mounting base of the camera to the box cover? I mean, the cable is already exposed to the elements inside the arm anyways, so I don't see anything gained by sealing camera base to the box cover.

I planned to have it sitting like this. One cable hole to the side, one on the bottom. Any reason those need to be sealed?

Plan looks good ..

I like to have one hole on the bottom to allow any moister to drip down ..

Some may have issues with bugs wanting to make a home in the box .. so some do like to seal holes, yet I still like to have one on the bottom ..
