IVS Snapshot Delay

When using the IVS feature to send an email with a snapshot there seems to be like a 6 second delay from when the event is triggered and when the snapshot is taken. Because of this I am rarely ever seeing what triggered the event. Is there a way to get instant snapshots as soon as the event is triggered or am I doing something incorrectly? This is being setup through the NVR and not the camera.

With some more testing I have found that the NVR just does a lousy job at taking snapshots. When tested through the camera itself, the snapshots are almost instant...maybe a second or two delay at most which is acceptable for my needs.

Hopefully someone has some pointers for getting the NVR to work as efficient as I have 60 cameras on this system and its MUCH easier to control IVS through the NVR rather than through each camera GUI.
