Its a shame we dont have a President who passed math class

Lowering rates would cause short term exuberance among the big money guys, but it will speed up the recession and increase inflation

  • The FOMC is 12 people, Powell has 1 vote
  • Lowering rates into a recession and Oil crisis would simply increase inflation
  • It wont lower your mortgage. Home mortgage rates are largely decided by the 10 year Treasury bond - Which is going UP
