I got this a while back and still in the box. I never got around to getting cameras. I want to get this hooked up and start with adding a video doorbell.

Can some recommend a good one to go with this nvr? I would like a doorbell that uses the existing 2 wires like the ring or nest do.

For an nvr it is recommend that you use the same manufacturer for the cameras. If the nvr is an international version use International cameras. If the nvr is a Chinese hacked version, then cameras may or may not work. The major manufacturer block mixing chi see and International equipment.

Where did you buy the nvr. What is the exact model number.
 
Amazon should have a category called Hacked Chinese version in Electronics.
