There's nothing like paranoid politicians in charge of technology.

Don't give the cameras internet access, and then you can be pretty damn certain they aren't being used to spy on your affairs.

But why bother if you can pay an exorbitant amount of money for a contractor to come in and swap the equipment with something else instead?
