Got it, sure will give the full manual, we have one fw that is very near to the good auto and full manual, have to work on that version.

The latest 0827 version will make pic bit blurry if you are a newbie with AUTO mode, not all people are high skilled user, so we need a special fw for our newbie users. The 0731 the camera come with till now is the best version., it's working good.
I haven't upgraded but I am very thankful for having options.

Andy - do you have original snapshots in full resolution (4Mpx) done by camera web interface?
Those images are resized and I think (not 100% sure) there are resized from small resolution (so probably secondary stream)..
very soft, lack of sharpness & details everywhere... no good...
then open PNG & save to JPEG in highest possible quality...
but please not resize..
Andy... it's not a original image.. put upscaled to 7992x4520 ... looks like some early AI upscaling algorithms...
Changing format don't change resolution...
this was done probably as some screen shot from web browser or SmartPSS working in different screen resolution and re-upscaled..
Please do proper snapshot from camera web interface (lub proper snapshot from original video footage done in video edit program).

LOL, seems like ever since I mounted it....nothing wants to come on my porch. I will eventually.
The PNG's are HUGE ... and Dahua should really provide an option to generate a JPEG in addition to a PNG.
From a comment of mine about the T54PRO-ZE (but applies elsewhere too) "the Snapshot button on the web interface ... generates a (huge) PNG file ... which if I pull the 8,392KByte file into Photoshop, save as a high quality JPEG, it's 920KBytes (and there's barely any difference between them) ... be nice if Dahua gave that as an option. "

The only issue I have found so far on the 0731 fw is that I could NOT save a time schedule on the warning light on more than ONE trip wire. I could save multiple tripwires.
I have no complaints, but I am really not one to ask yet because I am a complete novice. It would be a long time before I would be able to intelligently answer. I have a lot to learn about everything and limited time in my schedule, but I am chipping away. All is well!
