Sorry apparently I missed it, but does the new 54PRO or -IL have the Smart illumination like the 3449 PRO where the white LEDs can kick in and switch to color when they sense motion/human while normally running IR?
A very cool function on the 5459-Z4E, windows heating.
Back from my two week trip and pinging this thread as doesn't appear to be significant developments (?) in terms of performance, firmware, availability, etc.

During your two week trip, the forum went to crap and people couldn't post any pics and many couldn't log in, so now that it has been fixed, we can start seeing some more updates posted.

For now new WizColor 5xPRO is not available yet in distribution.

Due problems with firmware, this model was delayed. Andy had only a few pre productions pieces, for new ones we must wait to the end of September.
I have one fixed lens 54PRO on ma desk. I tested it on 3 different firmware for now - yes there is progress between them.
Tomorrow I will demount from soffit my 34PRO and try to compare them.
I tried to put some camera demo pictures done by me and Dahua presentation slides now - but uploading pictures don't work for me yet..

required pixel size of object is going down from 40x40 to 20x20..
Detection distance is going up by 50% - from 40m to 60m...

I'm assuming @steve1225 those videos were taken/uploaded with similar parameters ... the left side looks over-sharpened, but maybe the limits of the 54IR that the 54PRO has improved on?
I like that "fence" on the right side as I can use it to try to assess acuity over distance.
Was is exactly the same time? The reason I ask is there are people in the right image at infinite going perpendicular (left to right) that I didn't see in the left image ... albeit I do see someone at infinite by the path.
