Dahua intercom add external keypad

Hi,

I have outdoor videointercom Dahua VTO2211G-WP which is set to open electric lock on my garden door. I open it from my phone or indoor monitor.

I was wondering if I can add keypad to open the lock? Some sort of Dahua acces:

I have the same VTO and it has a built-in RFID reader.

not sure about this particular intercom, but if the door latch is energized at all time (fail-safe), is a matter of connecting the keypad in series (NC/COM) with that electric lock power source (opening the garden door keypad relay will cut the power)

edit: if fail-secure type lock, just provide power (12V) to unlock the door

if you have an exit button at the garden door, just connect the new keypad N.O. relay signal to that same path.

i have tried this and it does not work for me.

the rs485 seems only for the second lock module. so if you want keypad, better use thirdparty standalone
