Can a Dahua XVR recognize an NAS Hard Drive ?

Hi,

I have a NAS Hard drive in stock.
Is it possible to install this NAS Hard Drive inside a Dahua XVR or I need install a traditional HDD ?

Providing it’s a standard SATA drive it should be fine.

It's not a Standard SATA. It's a NAS SATA.

A find this on Google: "Your Windows PC may not be able to see the contents of your NAS drives. NAS devices usually use a custom linux distro which uses a different data structure not readable on windows PC. "

But what about XVR ??

You’ll need to format or add it so you’ll lose the data currently on the drive.
