Sounds like the exact same issue as mine, although mine was a bit newer than yours.
Camera quit working in the cold

Not every camera recovers when is not cold. Today changed 3 cameras, only one come alive when inside. Two of them completely died...
Had the same issue as OP with same camera shortly after being out of warranty. When ever temps outside would drop below freezing, camera would stop. Once temps got above freezing, a forced poe restart turned it back on. Contacted Andy but only solution was to install camera indoors 
ive done so and cam worked good for a while but now images it frequently getting wierd. I suspect the internal NIC being the root cause. Must buy replacement but kind of don't want to pay again for a 3 year only. I changed the 1pyr old cable entirely just in case but that wasn't the issue. Tried various poe sources even direct 12V, that also wasnt the issue. Because ping was dancing around from 1-2ms up to 200ms lead me to faulty NIC.
