Anspo NVR - only records for (about) 1 week

Hi,

My Anspo NVR will only record for about 1 week before it stops recording. I've tried setting it to 'manual' and also 'schedule' but it always seems to stop. All my recording options are all set to 24hr, so I thought that this would work? It has a 2TB HD, so I can't see that being used up.

If anyone has got any ideas what the issue could be?

Depending on how many cameras are connected, and what the total recording bitrate is - it may well be that a 2TB HDD could be filled up in a week with continuous recording. Do the calculation to find out.

Without knowing any detail of that NVR - does the Storage Management menu have an option to enable HDD overwrite when full?
If not enabled - it may just stop recording when the HDD fills up.

How do you re-start the recording?

Apologies for my delayed response.

I have 2 cameras connected, and I have 'redundancy' selected so that it it only records when it detects movement i.e. it's not recording all the time. The HDD has overwrite enabled.

To start recording again, I have to re-select either schedule or manual from the recording options as when it stops recording the 'stopped' option becomes auto-selected.
