I have been following this thread since it was posted and was inspired to purchase a PRO model to take my first step up to a "real" camera, pretty much from the get-go. Prior to receiving it I had read the recommended settings and other important information from prolific IPTC members including...
I can't see this making any difference for me. I only use two of the colors now, the green and the yellow, the latter being nothing more than a faster shade of the green.
edit: Come to think of it, I hope the autonomous cars controlling traffic will only be those that have had all of...
More newbie speak from me - I simply dove in when I purchased my tickets, having no historical knowledge of prior contests, or even what the prizes were. I just learned what they are after reading the list above. Wow! Thank you again to the contributors and coordinators.
I just checked my numbers and found that I had remembered them incorrectly when I looked in on this thread earlier. Can't believe it, I won something.
Thank you very much, @EMPIRETECANDY, @looney2ns, @wittaj and @samplenhold!
Hi, my change was to specify Date instead of Week - a beginning date and an end date. This worked for me but may not for you, or you may not even have this option. It was just a thought.
If there are licensing issues with modifying the modified names perhaps a product list translating Dahuanese to Empireese could be posted for our reference, somewhere like the Wiki or Tools area?

I have no complaints, but I am really not one to ask yet because I am a complete novice. It would be a long time before I would be able to intelligently answer. I have a lot to learn about everything and limited time in my schedule, but I am chipping away. All is well!
My first Dahua camera is out for delivery to me now. What do folks here recommend for setup of their cameras? DMSS, NVR, etc.?
edit: going to read the DMSS privacy policy
Thank you! Just trying to get a feel for what to expect when I try this. I think this version of the NVR came out around 2020-2022. I'm not thrilled with it but I prefer not to have to replace it at this time. Thanks again.
I have an Amcrest NV4108E-A2 NVR. I would like to pair it with Dahua cameras. Ideally, I would like it only to record events as opposed to continuously. Would the later and soon to be released model cameras trigger this NVR to record in this way?
