Andy should release new 54PRO (5459-PRO) & 58PRO - latest & greatest 4/8 Mpx in 1/1.8" and F1.0 aperture with strong hybrid lights (IR + white), which are very handy.. IR can work at night, white can be (or not, depending of configuration) activated by motion in situation of too low lights.. In... -

Before G6, Ubiquiti used mostly 1/2.8" sensors on lower cams... Now with G6, they migrated to 1/1.8" on lower cams and in PRO there is 1/1.2".. big change in plus... but YouTube videos shows that video processing is at level comparable to Dahua/HIK cams 4 years ago... plus lack of more lens...- steve1225

54IR (5442) also starts at $150 today hybrid lights in latest cams (like hybrid ColorVu or TIOC-PRO or WizColor) are no-cost thing.. $150 price point is cost of big image sensors (1/1.8") with good night performance, good optics and good video processing (modern SOC).. everything below this... -

Difference between the modes?
Without AI / without motion detection / with higher framerate (50/60 fps) With AI / with motion detection / with lower framerate (25/30 fps) 25/30 fps is enough for any normal usage...- steve1225

if live view on NVR on this channel is OK, then next possible reason is bad HDD... RAID0 is most stupid idea to do RAID matrix on NVR.. there is no redundancy there at all in RAID0... All recordings are evenly distributed across 4 drives - failure of any one of them results in the loss of 100%...- steve1225

If it were the web interface, there was a known issue in the 2024 NVRs firmware where, depending on the web browser and whether plugins were installed, the player could "skip" over video fragments. In the case of HDMI, it works normally here. You'd have to show a video of your problem...- steve1225
